The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?
I have been to the Berlin Villa twice (once in summer 2014, and once in summer 2015) and the best part: going out. The activities allow you to use your german skills in real life situations (whether that's with the public or just travelling and reading signs). There was nothing I really disliked, but make sure that you prepare yourselves for a lot of different people and keep yourselves open to those people, otherwise you build an awkward atmosphere that is terrible to learn in.
Your recommendations for other students
Do all the activities provided. There is a reason why you pay good money to do this amazing course - get involved. They really help with building up confidence, making friendships and getting the most out of the city you are in. If you enter your second or third week and you have already done an activity, that's fine (no need to repeat the same activity) but there is so much on offer - go to something else or get recommendations for the teamers!
