The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?

There were many things about GLS that attracted me.

Firstly it came recommended by a friend.

Secondly I took a look at the campus and the facilities and was very impressed.

Thirdly the course fees were very reasonable, even with the summer surcharge.

Lastly, I think the best thing about GLS is that you can start on any Monday at the correct level for you, and take it for as many weeks as you wish and still get the proper progression through the levels.

This is unique for language schools, and a strong point for GLS. But it is also a weakness, because it means that the students change weekly and there is no cohesion and makes it difficult for "student bonding" in the class during your course.

Overall I was very happy with the tutors I had, and enjoyed the classes. But this might depend on the student and tutor because I had a friend in another class who was not so happy with one of her tutors.

I did not use the GLS accommodation, but I heard from other students it was somewhat expensive.

Your recommendations for other students

Most definitely. GLS is run very professionally and at a high standard. If possible arrange your own accommodation, it may work out cheaper.
